When we have received the placing request lists the parents and children will be invited to the school for “Cuirm-Cnuic nan Teadaidhean”, the “Teddy Bear’s Picnic”, induction events. The children will meet staff and participate in a friendly, activity based session. The parents will meet with the Head Teacher and Senior school staff to discuss school expectations and support, procedures in place at the school e.g. uniform, lunchtimes and information on the curriculum offered. New pupils will also have an additional induction morning in the school to ease transition and familiarise them with the school setting.
