Here we are after our splendid fashion show! What a tremendous success it has been! Because of the hard work of the pupils and staff and the support of parents at our school, we have raised a grand total of £930 for The Chilean Earthquake Appeal-a cause very close to our hearts.
   
Our pupils have worked extremely well together and have gained confidence in their abilities as a result of our venture. Some have realised the employment possibilities in the world of textiles and fashion while all have acquired employability skills as a result of our cross curricular project.

Therefore on behalf of the Chilean families who will benefit from the £930 raised, and on behalf of the Fashion Show Committee I want to thank you most sincerely for the support given to our show.

The pupils collections were judged by Mrs McGuinness, Mrs Young and Mrs Fraser on the following criteria:

1. Name of the collection.
2. How well all of the outfits fit the theme.
3. Originality and design.
4. Quality of handmade garments.
5. Models presence on the catwalk.

The winning collection is Enviro-Fashion -Designed by Adam Smith, Tabitha Freeburn, Shannon MacTaggart, Kirsty McArthur and Lewis Miller.Glé mhath!
